A day after Reliance Jio and Airtel increased their prepaid and postpaid plans, Vodafone Idea also announced a tariff hike. The new prices for Airtel and Jio will take effect from July 3, while Vodafone's changes will start from July 4.

Vodafone's Statement

"In line with its commitment to provide its consumers with simple and comprehensive plans, Vi has curated an optimum range of feature-rich plans to meet the diverse needs of its consumers," Vodafone Idea said. The company emphasized its philosophy of supporting entry-level users and linking higher prices to increased usage. Additionally, Vodafone plans significant investments in the next few quarters to enhance the 4G experience and launch 5G services.

New Prepaid Plans

Unlimited Voice Calling Plans

  • Rs 199 Plan: Previously Rs 179, it now offers 28-day validity, 2GB data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS.
  • Rs 509 Plan: Previously Rs 459, it extends to 84-day validity, with 6GB data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS.
  • Annual Plan (Rs 1999): Previously Rs 1799, offers 24GB data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS for 365 days.

Daily Data Plans

  • Rs 299 Plan: Previously Rs 269, offers 1GB data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
  • Rs 349 Plan: Previously Rs 299, provides 1.5GB data per day, unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
